I apprecaite IP&L’s goals. I have just designed and erected the first pure ( No columns , no beams) Cross Laminated Timber, CLT, structure i the USA. By happenstance, it is a 78 ft tall Bell Tower for A UMC Church in Gastonia , NC. Is is highly sustainable, consumes CO2,easy and low labor to erect, healthy environment as zero off gas in a chapel at the base, no waste, low noise construction, and more. I hope to manufacture this technology and product in the USA soon. All the wood is #3 grade or better and from certified renewable forest resources and the adhesives are non toxic. The factory will consume any waste to heat the plant and kiln dry the wood. Irt has been a struggle but success seems at hand. CCM
