Each week we share news about IPL that can be found online.

The Topeka Capital-Journal reported on a demonstration outside of the Statehouse to turn the new jobs focus away from coal and on to wind energy. A minister with Kansas IPL spoke to the crowd about being faithful stewards of creation.

[Connie] Pace-Adair, a Wichita minister with Kansas Interfaith Power and Light, said people debating energy policy in Kansas were serving as witnesses to the nation.

“Kansas has an opportunity to model for the rest of the country how to meet our energy needs and still fulfill our duty for being responsible stewards of creation,” she said.
