Work Party Celebration in Morristown

On Saturday, October 9, more than 35 members, children, and friends of the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship in Morristown, NJ, held a Work Party/Celebration as part of IPL’s 10% Challenge.

Activities included: saving trees by pulling invasive vines out, washing windows to increase solar warming, a GreenCooking workshop culminating in a lunch of homemade soup and apples from a local farmers’ market, and various other activities, including a tour of four historic mansions featuring descriptions of energy saving measures. For the kids, paper cutting and story telling, and a nature-centered sing-along.
