Earth Ministry, an organization that hosts the Interfaith Power & Light presence in the state of Washington, has joined multiple area organizations in protesting the decision to import coal from Asia through the Port of Longview, WA. The coal importing would be managed through a subsidiary of Australia based Ambre Energy. A similar scheme was recently rejected by the Port of Tacoma.
