Urge the EPA to Stick to the Timeline on Cutting Global Warming Pollution

Jan 27, 2011 | Archive

Send a comment to the Environmental Protection Agency now to express your support of its timeline to begin curbing carbon pollution.

This is an important step for our country in combating climate change. But polluters are lobbying their friends in Washington to block the EPA’s action. It’s time for the EPA to finally begin to rein in some of the nation’s worst polluters and make them comply with new standards to clean up our air, protect our health, and protect the climate. The companies affected represent 40% of all U.S. greenhouse gas emissions. The EPA is accepting comments now in order to finalize these rules next year – let’s make sure they hear from us!

People of faith bring an important perspective to policy decisions. By standing up for carbon pollution limits, we are standing with the poor and vulnerable, who suffer the most from its impacts. Please take a moment to submit a comment through our simple web form in support of timely implementation of the Clean Air Act.
