The Rev. Susan Guy, Executive Director of Iowa Interfaith Power & Light, contributed this letter to the editor in response to a recent Des Moines Register editorial that outlined the importance of environmental awareness in the state of Iowa. Â The Rev. Guy praises the efforts of the Register to highlight thesse issues and also points out some practical subjects of concern, such as increased rail traffic.
