Courier-Journal: Kentucky protesters rally against mountaintop removal mining

Slowly, the coalition to stop mountaintop strip mining in Eastern Kentucky has grown as allies and supporters have begun to protest throughout the state. Tim Darst, Executive Director of Kentucky Interfaith Power & Light, is one of the leaders lending his voice to the effort. This exciting initiative has a broad base of membership and has been able to organize protests throughout Kentucky.
