Citizen-Times: Asheville church puts faith in solar power

Inspired by a workshop offered by North Carolina Interfaith Power & Light, an Asheville congregation has taken huge steps to be better stewards of the environment. One significant portion of this is the installation of over 40 solar panels on the roof of the parish’s historic building. The power generated at First Congregational United Church of Christ will feed back into the larger municipal power grid.
