Sometimes, one of the most powerful things we can do is to share our lives and experiences with others. Networks and support systems can sustain people, movements and ideas through the best and the worst of times. The Catholic Sustainability Network is such a group. Some of its members are also members of Oregon Interfaith Power & Light. One of the seven key themes of Catholic Social Teaching is care for God’s creation. According to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, “We are called to protect people and the planet, living our faith in relationship with all of God’s creation. This environmental challenge has fundamental moral and ethical dimensions that cannot be ignored.”
