A Eugene church is celebrating its adoption of several pieces of green technology, while encouraging other groups to follow suit. First United Methodist Church cut its carbon footprint by an estimated 55% and is saving on thousands of dollars in energy bills. This congregation was assisted by Oregon Interfaith Power & Light, a non-profit dedicated to the religious response to global warming and climate change.
