Statesman: Pipeline poses enviromental harm

In opposition to the proposed construction of the Keystone XL pipelines, Texas Interfaith Power & Light acknowledges their agreement with Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama to have our nation move away from its “addiction to oil” and invest in renewable resources. “This proposed pipeline,” they say, “is simply another expensive, short-term effort by the oil industry to circumvent the more urgent need to invest in renewable energy infractions.”
