Appalachian Voices: Congregations Put Faith In Solar Power

North Carolina Interfaith Power & Light has partnered with The Appalachian Institute for Renewable Energy (AIRE) to develop and promote an innovative solar finance model for congregations. “We want to communicate to people that it is the business of the faith community to care for the environment,” The Reverend Joe Hoffman of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Ashville says. “That is what it means to be a person of faith.”
