Panel says climate change must be addressed

Leaders in politics, religion, education, health and business spoke this afternoon about the challenges of addressing climate change, a phenomenon they said affects more aspects of human life than people might think.

The panel discussion, sponsored by the University Clean Energy Alliance of Ohio, Ohio Interfaith Power and Light, and the Truman National Security Project, aimed to build on efforts by the government to promote renewable energy sources and reduce pollution, organizers said.
