Members from more than 15 area churches spent Sunday afternoon learning how to be better stewards of energy within their congregation during the free workshop, “Using Energy Prudently” at Christ Lutheran Church.

The Kokomo area affiliate of the Hoosier Power and Light Interfaith Association and the Howard County Ministerial Association sponsored the presentation that focused on providing on how to improve energy usage by “sealing a building’s envelope,” cutting waste using thermostats, maintaining and replacing HVAC equipment, cost-effective lighting options and hunting down “energy hogs.”
