Indiana: IndyStar – Songwriting contest seeks ‘Indiana Earth Anthem’

Earth Charter Indiana Executive Director Jim Poyser said the contest aims to be a catalyst for civic engagement in relation to climate change.

“I believe an original song is important for a couple of reasons,” Poyser said. “One is we love local. Secondly, because Indiana has so many complications regarding grappling with the reality of our climate crisis, we’re going to need a highly original approach to bring various stakeholders together to address those challenges.” Keep reading…
