On the roof of the Shiloh Temple International Ministries in the heart of a largely African American community in north Minneapolis, a new solar community garden may soon take shape.

Unlike other solar gardens, which in Minnesota have largely been proposed in rural or suburban sites, the Shiloh site is right in the middle of a dense urban neighborhood that has a reputation for crime and limited economic opportunities for residents. Read More
