WILKES-BARRE — The leader of Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection came to Wilkes-Barre on Monday to hear opinions about new, federal regulations that will force power plants to slash carbon emissions.
A pastor, a rabbi, an environmental conservationist and an energy efficiency expert took the podium at Wilkes University’s Henry Student Center to offer support for the plan recently revealed by the federal Environmental Protection Agency.
