At the beginning of this month, Sleepy Hollow Presbyterian Church, a small congregation of about 75 families in San Anselmo, launched a campaign to raise the $18,000 it needs to install solar panels on its roof.

“We are working to lead by example,” said Doug Eisinger, one of the congregation members taking an active role. So far, the church has raised more than $4,000. Read more
