Philadelphia Tribune: Advocacy group continues fight for climate justice, climate change

Pennsylvania Interfaith Power & Light is continuing its advocacy for climate justice and climate change. The group is having Sunday planning meetings this month to prepare for their March for a Clean Energy Revolution. This will take place on the eve of the Democratic National Convention that will be coming to the city in late July. The march is slated for July 24 at noon.

“PAIPL is helping to organize the faith contingent and service part of the march now,” said Cheryl Pyrch, pastor of Summit and co-chair of the local chapter. “Rabbi Mordecai Liebling is chair the pre-DNC march. We have a wonderful faith statement composed by Rabbi Arthur Waskow.” Read more
