Bequests & Memorials

The easiest method to leave a legacy gift is to include Interfaith Power & Light in your will or living trust. Through your will, you can perpetuate good works with a living memorial. Interfaith Power & Light can be a beneficiary of all or a portion of your estate. In addition, any funeral memorials contributed in your memory can be directed to Interfaith Power & Light.

Real Estate

You can choose to donate the remainder interest of a personal residence to Interfaith Power & Light while retaining a life interested in the residence by transferring the residence to a qualified personal residence trust. Ask your financial advisor for more information.

Retirement Plan Gifts

Naming Interfaith Power & Light as the beneficiary of your 401k, IRA, or other qualified retirement plan is a simple way to leave a legacy gift. For those 70 ½ years old and older, you can give a donation (up to $100,000) directly from your IRA to Interfaith Power & Light.

Life Insurance

There are several ways to give life insurance to Interfaith Power & Light. You can transfer the ownership of an existing life insurance policy, purchase a new contract of insurance in the name of Interfaith Power & Light, or name Interfaith Power & Light as a beneficiary of the life insurance policy.
