Sacred Grounds Webinar with National Wildlife Federation

January 23 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us on January 23rd as we partner with the Lutherans Restoring Creation and other faith partners to learn from Naomi Edelson, Senior Director, Wildlife Partnerships, National Wildlife Federation, who will share exciting opportunities to Grow your own Good Green News.

Sacred Grounds is a program of the National Wildlife Federation’s Garden for Wildlife program helping people enjoy and conserve wildlife where they live, work, learn, play, and worship for 50 years.

Restoring the grounds of our houses of worship with native plantings is another climate solution, as native plants restore water and carbon to the soil, managing water and carbon cycles.

Register here for the webinar which will take place January 23rd, at 8 pm Eastern.

The Sacred Grounds program partners with congregations of all faiths and multi-faith cohorts including churches, mosques, and synagogues, to create a bigger impact to care for creation through gardening with native plants. Their aim is to create wildlife habitats to support wildlife and reduce stormwater runoff that overflows city infrastructures in an era of climate change.
