The Drepung Gomang Center for Engaging Compassion (411 N Hubbards Lane) is hosting Kentucky IPL President, Dr. Kate Bulinski speaking on “Climate Change in Deep Time: What the Past Can Tell Us About the Present Ecological Crisis” at 7 pm on April 29. The earth has always experienced variations in its climate, yet our current state of climate change is unprecedented. Dr. Bulinski will present a history of climate change on the planet and discuss how our knowledge of past events can inform current and future decision-making for the environmental health of the earth.
