“Reducing your Carbon Footprint: Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy” is part of the Interfaith Climate Justice “Inquiry to Action” series, designed to empower individuals and congregations with knowledge, skills and connections to address climate chance with hope and thoughtful action.  At this session we will hear from three local speakers: Marlaine Darfler of the Temple Beth-El Green Committee will share their efforts to weatherize their synagogue and support the Sustainable  Tompkins Climate Fund.  Karim Beers, Get Your GreenBack Campaign Leader at Cornell Cooperative Extension, will guide us through the resources available to help individuals and faith communities save energy and money.  James O’Dea, a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University, will give us an overview of the future for renewable energy.
