“Solar Energy: Looks Like Magic – But Actually Just Good Science & Technology” is the theme of Arkansas Interfaith Power & Light’s annual Earth Day Celebration. Join us for a Picnic on the Grounds, a Magic Show, and Singing to Fiddle Music in the Bearskin Solar Center – the first Solar Garden Cooperative in Arkansas for Entergy customers.
Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and your favorite beverages. We will provide a Southern vegetarian meal. The event is FREE and open to the public. Donations will be accepted. Additional proceeds will go toward environmental justice efforts of Arkansas IPL and Ark. Renewable Energy Association.
Join us to plant flowers and vegetables under and around the solar panels.
RSVP: arkansasipl@gmail.com – so we can provide your meal
As far as we know, this is the world’s first Picnic on the Grounds in a Solar Garden.
