In a recent letter from January 16, 2014, NSA has asked all Baha’is to contribute to the nationwide “Preach-In on Climate Change,” organized by Interfaith Power and Light, especially during the weekend, February 14-16.
The Baha’is of Desert Hot Springs would like to take this occasion as an opportunity to invite all Baha’is and friends of Baha’is of the Coachella Valley to a an evening of Celebration, Prayer, Reflection and Action, relating to the engagement of the Baha’i Faith in the “stewardship and responsibility for the environment,” the raising of our consciousness on the “oneness of all of the Earth’s inhabitants,” and the oneness of our local communities in solidarity with one another and the multireligious faith initiative across the country.
This event – “One with All the Earth’s Inhabitants” – will be held on Sunday, February 16, at the Miracle Springs Resort & Spa, at 10625 Palm Drive, Desert Hot Springs at 5:30 p.m. You need not to bring anything but your good spirit, your friends, family, and interested friends of the Faith. The program will begin at 6 p.m. and will last approximately 70 minutes.
